Guided Night Walk, Sat 3rd October
Join an exclusive group of night walkers through the Zig Zag track, led by author and conservationist Annette Lees. Walkers then view the night sky through telescopes set up on Titirangi Beach and enjoy wine and canapé under the stars. Adults only event
$95
Annette Lees is an author, an experienced night walker and committed environmentalist. She will be the lead guide for a small group through the Zig Zag track starting as soon as it is dark. Walkers will view the waterfall and their fantastic glowworms, the group will listen for bats and other nocturnal creatures and observe the night sky.
Once completed Canapes and drinks will be shared at Titirangi beach while the group enjoy the use of large telescopes bought in by the Auckland Astronomical Society. Walkers will be driven back up to their vehicles.
Numbers strictly limited to 24 tickets. Adults only. A reasonable level of fitness and stability is required. Rain date Friday 30th October.
