The festival offers a unique chance to explore a curated collection of ten stunning private gardens. There will be artist studios to visit, a plant sale with plants from our nursery, and food and refreshments at selected garden locations.
Come and experience Titirangi in spring, explore beautiful gardens, take in amazing views and support a wonderful local cause. It will be a fun and inspiring day.

Planning Your Day
Opening Times. The gardens will be open from 10 am to 4 pm.
Tickets
Show your ticket confirmation (either printed or on your phone) to a volunteer at any garden entrance to receive your wristband and program. Your wristband grants you access to all gardens 10am -3.45 pm .Tickets will also be available for purchase at each garden entrance, you will need to bring cash if you wish to purchase an entry ticket on the day.
Garden Tour Map and Program
The printed festival program (including map) will be emailed to each ticket holder one week prior to the event. Please note that you can visit the gardens in any order you choose. The map will have plenty of info, local spots of interest, cafes, public toilet info etc.
Transport
This is a self-drive event, but please consider carpooling as parking is extremely limited. Walking between gardens is encouraged where possible, and e-bikes or scooters are a great option, too. Please wear flat suitable footwear.
Parking
Some Titirangi Roads are very narrow and winding. Parking at nearly all gardens is restricted to roadside parking and is limited. Please follow instructions from our volunteer parking attendants and consider visiting another garden if parking fills up. We appreciate your patience in advance.
Safety
Please take care while exploring these beautiful private gardens. Some areas will have uneven or slippery surfaces, so we kindly ask that you watch your step and take responsibility for your own safety. Most gardens have steep slopes, so please take extra care and ensure you wear suitable footwear.
Food and Drinks
Tea Coffee and homemade cakes and biscuits will be available to purchase at the garden in Paturoa Road.
Cold drinks and homemade goodies will be available 11-2 at Westridge Road
Children
Sorry children under the age of 14 are not permitted on the tour. Please note most of the gardens are not suitable for pushchairs.
Pets
Please leave your dogs at home as they are strictly not allowed in these private gardens.
Toilets
Private and public toilets will be marked on the festival map and in the program.
Weather
There is no rain date for the festival. It will go ahead rain, hail or shine, so please dress according to the weather conditions. 😊
Festival Ticket Terms and Conditions
Attendance at the Titirangi Garden Festival indicates your agreement with our festival terms and conditions. Please read the conditions of entry below.

Terms and Conditions
Tickets: Tickets are non-refundable but transferable before the event day. Online ticket confirmation must be shown at the first garden you visit to receive your wristband, which grants access to all gardens. Wristbands cannot be transferred once worn.
Event Dates: The Festival will take place on Saturday 28th November 2026, from 10am to 4pm, rain or shine. There are no alternate rain dates.
Health and Safety: Visitors are responsible for their own health and safety and should follow Health and Safety notices at each property. Wear appropriate footwear for uneven, slippery surfaces, and be cautious on steep slopes and under low tree branches. We ask all visitors to take care and watch their step!
Property Access: These are private properties. Please respect the privacy of the owners and their property.
Parking: Park responsibly, ensuring other traffic can pass and you are not blocking driveways or streets.
Smoking and Pets: All properties are non-smoking, and no pets are allowed.
Footwear and Paths: Wear flat shoes, stick to the paths, and avoid trampling foliage. Due to Kauri die back protocols do not enter bush areas off pathways.
Plants: Do not pick or remove any plants. If you need assistance identifying a plant, bring the person to the plant, not the plant to the person.
Children: This is an adults only event. Babies in front or back packs will be welcomed into gardens, push chairs are not suitable for most gardens.
Personal Belongings: Ensure you take all personal belongings with you. Owners are not responsible for lost property or disposing of rubbish.
Liability: Titirangi Urban Sanctuary (Event Organiser) is not liable for any injury or damage to you or your property during your visit.
Cancellations: If the event is cancelled due to pandemic restrictions or a serious natural disaster, you will have the option to request a refund or donate your refund to Titirangi Urban Sanctuary. We request that ticket refunds are claimed within a month of the event, along with proof of purchase.
