Reducing the numbers of rats, possums, mice, ferrets, stoats, weasels and hedgehogs in Titirangi is a vital part of our work. Predators have decimated bird numbers and reduced natural reforestation. The fight back is on!
TUS operates trap lines, monitoring stations and bait lines all around your neighbourhood. There are bait stations and traps around our coastline, in public parks, and with owner’s permission, on private land.
Our work is supported by a large group of backyard trappers who help us to hold the line.
